My model does not look as smooth as it did in my other 3D package. My 3D SketchUp model is not importing to flat panels correctly in Aspire or VCarve. I have updated Sketchup and now cannot open my files in Aspire or VCarve. I can see through my model when it is imported. I recently picked up the JTech 2.8W laser kit plus the additional shroud and thought I’d share my new post processor for VCarve/Aspire in case anyone else finds themselves in need. I’m aware there was a much older version hanging around in this forum, but it does not have the ability to adjust the laser power from the CAM software, and this has some additional updates. VCarve/Aspire laser.

This module enables you to create projects using hybrid laser and CNC machining, all within one package.Take advantage of the same drawing, machining and layout tools you are already used to. Simply create your project, choose which parts you want to cut on your CNC and which parts you want to laser. View all elements of the finished hybrid project in your simulation.
